Searching for home

Last week Eddie went into school and told the principle that we are not bringing the boys back to school again. We were not going to let them get hurt one more day. The principal admitted that Emilio cried a lot. He said it's propably because he speaks German with a bavarian accent and not like them. He also thought it would be the best for both of us if we left. So much for being welcomed! This is the first time we have felt racism or dislike - or whatever that was - and it was not pretty. We left the same day we took the kids out of school for Germany to try and find a new home. Searching for home again....it was a very stressful week with lots of appointments.
We have not found anything so far. We picked one apartment and were told we were just a little bit too late and didn't get it. It has also been difficult this time to deal with my sister and her husband because he is not talking to us for some strange reason. Apparently it's because I forgot that my sister was making lunch for us and I fed the kids beforehand. This is the number one reason for all those years we did not want to move back to my home town because of things like this. So please pray that I will have good boundaries set up right from the start and that this kind of stuff won't bother me too much. Lynn, thanks for your prayer that I would love people who hurt me. I felt so encouraged by it because you didn't know about my situation when you prayed it.

So we're back home again! Pray that God will guide the next steps. Our friends keep looking for apartments for us and I hope that we will be able to move soon.

Petra,
This great being able to keep in touch. We have been talking a lot about God's grace and mercy and how it is given. Much will be given to those are in need and are seeking his righteousness. My heart goes out to you, Eddie and the kids as you adjust and figure out what your new life is going to look like.
